The rain everyone wanted and needed did not come for us! Salmon did put on a bit of a show but the sewin were very few and far between. It was very quiet on the banks, I hardly saw any other anglers out!
I did have one excellent day landing 2 salmon and losing 2, bringing my salmon total to 5 and sewin to 9.
Adrian Batty had 3 in one morning, bringing his total to 8 salmon for the season. He also landed 26 Sewin. Carl Lowndes had a couple more salmon, bringing his total to 5 fish. Dave Edwards had 2 salmon. Martyn Lewis had a 33″ salmon. Steve Brown had another salmon bringing his total to 3 for the season to add to his 34 sewin.
It was good to see new member Shaun Mattson catch his first salmon, too!
