Annual Competition at Llys y Fran

Good fishing was had at Llys y Fran, a lot of members bagged up. Winner of the Munt's shield was Andrew Jenkins. Biggest fish was caught by Keith John, junior winner was Owen Lewis with his sister Anna coming a close second.

Nearly double-figures sea trout!

Carl Lowndes has landed his 'sea trout of the season' - a cracker of 9lb 8oz! Carl also recently landed a this 12lb salmon below St Catherine's bridge on a Mepps Spinner. And another! This time a 16lb 11oz salmon below Treffgarne Bridge.

2017 Catch & Release – No Changes

NO CHANGES TO THE 2017 FISHING SEASON. Dave Charlsworth from NRW has advised attending members from various fishing clubs at the latest CFF meeting "They will not be able to implement catch and release for the 2017 season and we could inform all clubs of that fact".

New Footbridge

We have been busy and erected a new bridge above St Catherine`s Bridge up to the round pool area. This will make it more accessible for the less able members.
