We held our annual fishing competition at Llys-y-Fran reservoir on Sunday 24th April.
It was a very bright day and fishing was hard, not all caught a fish ( including me, but I did do over 19000 steps!) but most did catch.
Jack James caught his 4 fish to win the Munt’s shield; Steve Brown had the second biggest bag.
Paul Nicholas caught the biggest fish and won the Medina cup, second biggest fish went to Teifion Owen.
Llys-y-Fran staff helped to organise and weighed the fish, they also donated 2 fishing permits which were drawn in a raffle.
Many thanks also to be given to the local businesses who donated the prizes: Vincent Davies family store Haverfordwest, FRF Toyota in Haverfordwest and County Sports of Haverfordwest.
Gary, Heidi and Mavis from County Sports also kindly turned up at the weigh-in to present the trophies and prizes.
Thanks to Ian Harries (Vice President) who organised the event.
See you all down the river soon.
