It is with great sadness I have to share the news that our club President Ken John has passed away.
Ken was one of the longest standing PAA club members, both general and committee. He then deservedly filled the position of Club president for many years.
He was always there to ask about the history of the club, his knowledge of the river and all the land owners was second to none and he was the club’s archivist.
Nothing was too much trouble for Ken, even when recently very ill he was actively helping our solicitors track down some information. He was a real gent and friend to everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed by anyone who was lucky enough to know him.
Rest in peace Kenny.
